Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW), which took place between August 5 and 9, has been a source of inspiration for the Arona More Than Fashion organization. With international brands such as Marimekko, fashion schools such as the Swedish School of Textiles and high-class guests such as the Ukranian Fashion Week, this event turned the Danish capital into the city of fashion for a week. Catwalks, fashion-talks and meetings served as a focus of ideas for this event to bring the most original and interesting proposals to Arona.
International trends
As it is an international event, Arona More Than Fashion has attended the different shows organized at Copenhagen Fashion Week to get a closer look at the designs that are generating the most echo and to check which brands fit best with the Tenerife public. Thanks to this, conversations have begun to bring a representation of this event to Tenerife.
CIFF: brand showcase
The Copenhagen International Fashion Fair has allowed us to discover the trends that most brands are following and make ourselves known among their representatives. This fair, held on September 7, 8 and 9 within the framework of the CPHFW, has been the stage in which dozens of brands and designers have made themselves known.
Sustainability, the new fashion premise
Copenhagen Fashion Week has become a benchmark in the field of sustainability. The event has an advanced vision that demands certain requirements for all participants with the aim of ensuring that the entire fashion industry begins to walk in the same direction. Large events, such as the Berlin Fashion Week, have already taken the CPHFW as a reference in this sense and at Arona More Than Fashion we have not wanted to be left behind and we have taken the opportunity to take note of all these initiatives so that we can apply them to our event.
